April M. Chase joined Kozloff Stoudt Attorneys in April 2022 as a File Clerk, bringing with her a strong work ethic and a passion for organization. April plays a key role in maintaining the firm’s file management system and is also responsible for training File Clerk interns, a task she finds especially rewarding, as she enjoys watching interns grow and build their professional confidence.

April holds an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Berks Technical Institute and is a certified notary. Prior to her administrative work, she spent eight years working with children, an experience that helped shape her patient and approachable teaching style when guiding interns through day-to-day tasks.

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, April enjoys cooking, archery, reading, and crafting in her free time. She is also deeply involved in her community through her work as an Audio Visual Producer at Riverview Christian, a role that began as volunteer work more than a decade ago. At home, she shares her life with two dogs, Nova Fox and Jack Jack, and a cat named Beast.  April and her fiancé, Carmelo Ortiz, are looking forward to their upcoming wedding in December 2025!

A fun fact about April: she was named after the character April O’Neil from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a unique connection that adds a bit of flair to her story. April’s dedication to completing tasks and supporting her team makes her a valuable asset to Kozloff Stoudt’s administrative staff.
