Attorney Kourtney Bernecker received her Bar Certificate from the Supreme Court of the United States this week! In November she was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court with other members of the Berks County Bar Association. They attended the oral arguments in the matter of U.S. v. Texas, an immigration law case in which Texas challenges a Department of Homeland Security policy on prioritizing deportations and enforcing border security. Afterwards, staff from Representative Dan Meuser provided them with a tour of the United States Capitol.
